Sometimes I cry

by brianna   Mar 20, 2011

Sometimes I cry,
While I lay here in my bed.
I look to the sky,
And ask her to answer the questions that lie within my head.
Another sleepless night,
Had me wide awake again.
Pondering over our stupid fight,
Trying to find a way in
I don't understand,
Your interesting Morals and shi*
Your need to always lend a hand
To those who really don't deserve it
I trust you though and expect
You to do what you feel is right
You have made a great effect
On my judgment and insight

Sometimes I cry
Because I know someday you will flee.
So scared to have to say good bye
To a man I hold so dear to me
You are the greatest guy
So lucky that I call you mine
sometimes you might make me cry
but the tears always fade in time.
Your smile always gets me
And I love to hear you laugh
Your touch is so intoxicating
And I'd like to say on behalf
Of all past girlfriends everywhere
They really are missing out
On a type of guy who is very rare.
Sometimes you make me want to scream and shout
You need to help everyone
And won't stop until you succeed in some way
Not settling for just helping one

So as I lay here in my bed
A thought suddenly hits me
I remember what was exactly said
And hope that you remember my plea
Forgive and forget you reminded me
And I realize now just how I wish this to end
Alone in my bed I now see
I love you dear, sweet, boyfriend
And now I see why
During each silly fight
Its alright for me to cry
At least for just this one last night.
