Degrees

by Dr sarat sonowal   Jun 5, 2011

The fear of winter darkness sits quietly
the fireflies ceases to move
the long wait for the sun agonizes me

with the company of the fallen
the wait for the miracle to happen

the chase of the water
the liquid tension

its a night to remember
that started as a magical trick

in the far horizon
there is a sense of belief

a coincidence!
i have dream t of this before
when i was a small kid

a sens less euphoria surrounding
the turbulent degrees of inner conscience

a breakaway series
tearing apart

the sun has risen
from the wreckage of the past

a miracle of changing times
the lamp is lit in the temple of love

the fear of winter darkness is gone forever
with the arrival of the crimson king

the degrees are broken with the sun above
the ashes has turned into golden dust
