Love Is Ageless

Ive not been writting since 2007 i just felt i need to start again please tell me what you think so i can get back to it thank you hope you like it.

The day she left me my life was taken away
I never thought I would get a new one, the very next day

Just talking to her slowly eased my pain
My heart is in half but soon will be whole again

When we kissed I start to realise
That by the time its over ill see my future in her eyes

But theres something keeping me awake every night in bed
Its the 6 year age gap I cant get out my head

If we could be special whats the harm in taking a risk
I no if I dont take the chance all of her I would miss

I need to let her in my heart learn to retrust
So I can be whole again and turn me into us

If this is what I want I need to think above
I need to realise there isnt no age on love

    Age seems to be such a big deal to some, but I think you have perfectly said how the heart seems to ignore the difference. In my opinion go with what feels right, age is but a number. Well said indeed

    Well the poem is simply amazing, alot of people don't really understand the concept that love is ageless, well to be honest, I would never fall for a younger man, but he can be a million years older that wont be a problem for me :)
