A Fairytale Like No Other

by Men   Jul 24, 2011

A figure stands before me, Ive seen her before

My heart (she had) set free, yet seen nevermore

My legs grew weak, as our eyes met

Is this the hope that Ive seek?

For her memories, Ive always kept.

The distance grows shorter

Synchronize heartbeats of past lovers

The King and the Pauper

A fairytale like no other.

She holds out her hand, a pawn rest center

A riddle understand, her heart I must reenter

All caution to the wind, our bodies embrace

Together until times end

Forever residents of this place.

Holding ever so tighter

Synchronize heartbeats of past lovers

The King and the Pauper

A fairytale like no other.

What a fool I am, to think this would last

Oh such a shame, the arrival (of end), so fast

Approaches the light, she fades away

Now eyes lack of sight

Opens up to realitys day.

Bitter words utter

I never shouldve hurt her

The pathetic Pauper

A Fairytale like no other.
