I wake up, with the
sun shining over me,
yet there is no body, no
love, no blue eyes
for me to see.

Where are you in this
beautiful summery day?
Hoping you come home soon
every day I pray.

I wake up, rain falls
as I lay in this hole,
gun fire is all I hear, not
your voice , or your laugh
to keep me in control.

The pain is getting to much
my body can not last
remember dear "I love you"
leave me in your past.

    I think that this is a well written poem. I wasn't able to tell which parts have been written by who. The feelings in this poem are really powerful and I actually like flow and rhyme.
