The Promise

by aminath   Dec 2, 2011

'Tis night of epiphany
Whence forth, I make thee a pledge
Across the celestial galaxy
A solemn promise, I make
Of 'tis the naked truth-laden
Dipped within the crimson froth
Of my vigilant jugular
Oh moon maiden
Thou whom dwelt in the stoical ambience
Up above yonder
Shining with nuptial radiance
Be my sole witness
On this night spectacular
So long as this opaque muscle of mine
Flutters a single beat divine
My beloved, I shall not part with thee,
Thus this heart's tenacity
Shall not ever
Blither or Waver
Such like the ephemeral waves stealing soft kisses
Caressing the shore with his luscious sips
Wetting hers white sandy lips
So for more, she begs
Cravings to fall on deafened ears
Such a rumination for the ponder

'Tis a pact I make thither
By the fragrant roses of morn
Till this journey's end
Though this casket lump of flesh may wither
My love will never cease hither
Grow'st from the evergreen pods of my soul
A goodly length of day and night
Of times ticking widow
Across the haze
These eyes of mine seek
Thy tender face
Upon a glimpse of thy shadow
Overflows my wonder stream
Oh how I love thee, my beloved
By the occasional drizzle
Softly touching my lips, delicious
Inflaming husky temptations
And the sizzling eucalyptus
Burning musky embers
By the mystical depths of the woman
At 'tis whimsical hour
By my troth
Henceforth
This pledge I dost make
Carved within the ring
Of an eternal flame
To love and honor thee
For infinity
And thus I bequeath my destiny

Oh patient messenger
Up above yonder
Reigning in 'tis darkness
I beseech thee
Be mine sole witness
On this rapturous night
