I do admit I had to read a couple times, and each time I saw something different. First I saw ones own release from a hard day. And then as I read again, I saw ones content with the simple things such as a cigarette or being able to write. Much enjoyed.

I love this one. I love the idea of the dragons blood from the candle. That was such a unique idea. What I got from the start of this is that your smoking is like your friend, you describe the ashes falling on your lonely skin, perhaps then it doesn't feel so lonely.

Great poem, it can be interpreted in many ways.

It's as I expected, i'm afraid: immature, lacking finesse, without substance...all of the above and so much more :))))))))))))))))))
No, this has your stamp of quality all over it and yet, it is somehow different. More lighthearted? More reckless? Both understandable considering how life must have weighed on you the last few years.
Anyway, I could smell the incense and cigarettes as I read this.
