Christmas Time Blues

A year has gone by,
sence christmas time.

It's that time of year,
Once again.
yet, I don't feel the cheer.

If christmas is about Christ,
then why are we all thinking;
About Santa Clause?

    Yes Jess. My point exactly. Short poem but says it all perfect. Just two things Claus has no e on the end unless you are talking about the movie..Im pretty sure. Sence should be since..easy fixes :) After kids no longer believe I think the magic is lost. Nice piece Jess. Merry Christmas! Focus on the real meaning and God bless.

    You make a very true point here, I never have understood that. Seems Santa Stole the stage!
    I live in Arizona so there is no snow... that doent help either when it comes to trying to feel the Christmas spirit. That was a nice little writ with alot of truth in it.

    You have a good point.

    The real reason to celebrate christmas is not for the gift, and overtime the point is getting lost. Though for me christmas is a time to celebrate and give more thanks that we are still alive and that I can spend that time with my family.
