Love is...
Waiting endlessly in front of the phone for a text or call
The thing you don't want to get up from when you fall
Something you would willingly give your all
A sport that you pray you never drop the ball
Love is...
That petty argument that escalates
Feelings turned into action that demonstrates,
Everything you hold inside
Love is...Compromise
Love is...
Even in silence staying on the phone
Or when together never wanting to go home
That feeling that maybe you'll never die alone
But who knows
Love is...
Pain
Hard to maintain
But at the same time, worth the strain
If your love was sand, I promise to take care of every grain
Love is...
A challenge
Love makes mistakes
But these are the things that'll make and break
And if the good out-weigh the bad
Never throw away everything you had
Love is...
Faithful
Held together by trust
To a lonely heart Love is a must
A love so sharp leaves the finest scars
At the end of the day
Love is...
Hard
