Beauty of the night.

by Victoria   Apr 24, 2012

They call her beauty of night,
Flawless skin, shimmers white,
Something about her can't be right,
Maybe I just say that out of spite.

She can give beauty to things unseen,
as if she was some sort of vaccine.
Those she crosses who are obscene,
washes their souls almost serene.

The souls which are completely dark with sin,
she can smell their posionous skin,
Their beauty has been stolen from within,
Written outside-- with a wicked grin.

She can't touch those stained black as coal.
Her gift only goes out to those with a soul.
Beauty in those, the devil has stole,
Leaving, ugly for them to play as their role.

Have you tried seeing beauty when light is not outside?
Not seeing a face, is it hard to decide?
Her senses, or you could say instincts is all she applied,
She listens to everything she hears inside.

She is definately one of a kind,
One who is rare to even find,
Her secret she never lets show, she only holds it deep in her mind,
I bet no one would of guessed that she was blind.

So her story, which is not told,
The truth she likes to hold,
Would you give your eyes to be sold,
in order to receive a heart of gold? :)

Like for me i wonder have you ever tried to really understand importance of things when there is no obvious reason, have you ever seen something so beautiful and been unable to stop staring, and thinking about her/him.

I love this piece your poetry is heartfelt <3

Have you tried seeing beauty when light is not outside?
Not seeing a face, is it hard to decide?

a meaningful part of your poem...but, we should not look for the beauty in outside appearance..the most important is the inner beauty of a person...
