Noura, when you post a poem into the miscellaneous category, I never know what to expect...

but I always know it will be amazing, and I was right again...This is breathtaking, the whole piece just feels so right, it is so you and I love your metaphors and your ending just fits perfectly to the whole piece.

Loved this and nominated for sure...Oh yes!

You have such a creative way of grabbing objects and shaping them into your poem. Door sills and lip gloss? I feel like all I write about are suns and trees and stuff, I'd like to have a little more of your ethereality (yes, I just made up that word for you) that's somehow rooted in interesting objects.

    "Today, I realize

    that you are far,
    the kind of far that
    grabs me
    too close"

    I love this.

    "not any kind of magic-creators"

I think it should be magic-creator. No plural necessary.

Just one thing, in the last verse 'stich' should be 'stitch' I believe. Minor typo. (:

    Comments from judging:

Although I don't like the use of "un-daydream", I did like the rest of the poem. Again another strong poem this week about poetry and metaphors, riddled with beautiful imagery. I especially liked the ending the best, stitching is a great verb she used here and I felt it was really creative. Typically you see weave, so stitching gave it a little bit more of an "edge" to me. Awesome write
