Comfort and Content

by David Todd   Jun 22, 2012

Uncomfortable, I wish you not.
Only for you is a spot, that is held by you and only you.

Uncomfortable, you shall not see
with all and every fiber in me.

It is my being to let you breathe ...
With ease...

Comfort I will provide...
You will know that is me by your side.

It is my being to put you first...
through thick or thin,
better or worse.

A smile you should wear.
Me never fear.

For within me is your friend...
Your partner, your confidant.

There is something I want...
For you to be comfortable and content.

This is a really sweet poem you have written here. Comfort lifts off the words as you read them and for any girl to be told such, it brings a smile to the face. I enjoyed reading this, thank you for posting it.
