Your poetry always makes the reader think and this one is no exception. I liked how you repeat the word old throughout the verse....it gives a much deeper meaning to your words and while I don't claim to understand all of your metaphors I do think they are placed well and could, possibly have more than one meaning. Much enjoyed!

Well, this was sad and deep, Karla..I felt the pain deepening each time you repeated the phrase "I am old", because I so understand how those words are meant. I am old that way too, hun.

    Bravo, masterpiece <3

    Remember when you said
there was a dream inside my eyes?
How many moons ago was it?
When was love a constant disorder?
Was it when a melody dissolved your eyes
in mine or when your flesh was my tears?

    the opening,how i loved it!!
    Sad poem,but so beautifully written!

Lovely and captivating title. How sad to be treated like this, love inarguably is the most soulful feeling if experienced. Wondering whether he or she was the right choice made. After yester years of sharing love and pain, doubts hang in the ropes of emotions. Measuring earned respects, patience deemed to apraisal and a divine force to keep the union going till end of time.

How puzzling it is to find yourself in a sceptic situation, pondering over a rather ambiguous and subtle issue. I believe after years of togetherness, only moments you've battled to walk through problems is what can deliver your questions. Coupled with trust, integrity, patience and appreciation.

However, its also stated, -'one mans food, is anothers poison'. Love, a plant to be nourished through all the years, come rain or sunshine.

Great messages you always convey. Excellent!
