First Love

by Wednesday   Dec 13, 2012

With a little spark
Banished away was the dark
A long forgotten fire burned fast
Of a love long in the past
A fire that will never go away
Life goes on but you can't forget that day
When the fire ignited inside you
A flame bursting because he knew
That you were fragile and broken
So he took your heart as a token

The fire never died
The flame just shortened inside
Thoughts of him
Fuels it up again
You know the true him now
That he only wanted to bring you down
But you can't help but enjoy the flame
Whenever someone speaks his name
Can't let go of the fire that he lit
Even for a little bit

Your first love will never go away
The fire of his will burn for forever and a day
