Elegant Forms

by Ridge   May 20, 2014

Your solar eyes are beautiful burning in flaring fire
I will for you imprisoned in this nursery in flames

Your elegant forms polish the dressing room
I can do whatever you want, celebrate your magnificence

Portraits and sculptures, creations for your birthday
I can turn a simple chair, into a throne, of pearls and jewels

Her tears that drop, stab me in the eye
A little star, blinds my studded vision, shines across my face

You open me in awe, sprung out of the blue, into the bizarre
Every movement of your lips, breaks my heart's cadence

I lay in the warmth of your arms, clothe in sweetness
She sat there on the settee, attentive to my musings
