Im not too late

by Brittany   Aug 5, 2014

I gathered all my pennies and collected all my dimes,
to throw in the wishing well, all I wanted was your time.

I picked a dandelion, I pulled it from the ground,
blew real hard, say a prayer for me now.

Were separated and your really far away,
but in my heart you'll forever stay.

It won't be forever, it won't be long.
Till I make it back to you, just stay strong.

I want to be like Dorothy and this be Kansas,
Want to clack my heels together and paint my own canvas.

I'm tired of this life, it's all black and white.
I can't live like this, I need to make it right.

I want to be like Bonnie and you be Clyde,
always have your back, but always at your side.

I'll always return home where I'm meant to be.
When I get there just please remember me.

I love you so much with each passing day,
when I return don't tell me I'm too late..
