Love is always alone.............. |

Loneliness has a scent?? Wow, lovely idea! I like your word choice in this, too... "tweet", "pained petals" and you personify love here so well. I can clearly see the image of the sun retreating, going back to its nest, and then the moon seemingly lighting up the reality that she is alone. |

Your agony is reflected in your poem. I want to know, "When a person gets his true LOVE, does he/she still give the same importance or they take their Lover for granted? Does a Lover become important only in separation? |

Stunning imagery of nature, yet sorrowful emotions of loneliness and distance between love and the heart. The contrast in this poem is between the beauty within the nature, the world around, and the darkness of the pain of being alone. It is written in such a powerful, yet short way, that the emotion is felt strongly and lingers within that final stanza. This poem is a must read for anyone who admires the connection between nature and emotions, and nature and ourselves. |

As is mentioned below, the idea of loneliness having a scent is a stroke of genius, in my opinion. And the alliteration, personification and metaphor in stanza three is wonderful! lol . Truly a great use of poetic tools here. |
