What did the Universe say to the Earth?

Of many a children
You were a dear one
Millions of years
Have I taken
To bear you
A complete one
Blue and Round
Looked you so Crystal Clear
I gave you warmth and love
With every breath and tear
Many a worthy sons
did you bear
Of passion and compassion
You set an example so clear
Defending pieces of mother earth
All were your children
Of the same abode
With fresh rains, wind and soil
You gave them more and more
What did the Earth say to the Universe ?

O mother universe
You bore me, loving and care
Of many a seasons,
I looked up to you for attention and care
After centuries past
I now look upon myself to see
What has mankind done to me ?
Of how I look ? do my children care ?
Crystal and blue ?
The man has made me a furnace of smoke, dust & fire!
Of many Countries and states
They have divided me by name
Killing one other is how they reckon their fame
Would you have borne me ?
If you knew this is what my fate would be !
Am only a child still
If you do count me
O mother universe!
My soil is no more fertile
With chemicals and toxins,
These children have poisoned me entire
If only I could tell them
Of how much care I gave
Was there a way to say
Open your hearts and share
Yet, of many a children
There were a few I did see
Who took a step to say, they do care for me
Of all that is said - unsaid
My children are mine do you see
I shall do all I can
To give them myself fully !
