This just... you both are incredible and I am so happy you found each other. My heart always goes out to you and this illustrates the strength of your love! It will always remain, through pain, through leaving the physical world.

Love how you are saying to live for today, that is truly beautiful. Others can call it what they like but being there for him in the moment is something you'll always cherish. And cherish that time with him, well I know you well.

    Hugs <3

"I don't think a woman can prepare herself for such a nightmare - I'd rather prepare his supper....." This line, for me, sums the sentiment of this wonderful and moving poem up: Defiant, brave and filled with love.
Why succumb to misery before the event? Live every day, cherish every day - don't waste them by preparing yourself for what cannot be prepared for anyway.
This is an inspiring poem and full of inner strength that we can all take something from.
Well done, Maple, and do take care,
    Ben

Take it one moment at the time and enjoy every moment to the fullest. It is up to God.
What does it matter what society thinks and I don't believe your are in denial. When that day comes you need to grief, it don't matter how long it will take. Until then keep on praying and I will pray as well.
