Clouds release crisp snow
across the sleepy village:
Welcomed the next day.

    Nice imagery here, Michael:)
It made me see a Christmas card kind of vision.
Alas, this year it will be a mind-blowing 14 degrees C here in Holland!! Warmest Christmas since they started keeping record!
    But....we can dream, can't we? :)

    Well done,

    (((hugs))) xx

What a lovely senryu, Michael. Again, one that could almost be a haiku as well; they seem often to fall into the either/or bracket.

I don't know why, but I had visions of a peaceful, mountain village - stuck in timeless simplicity - asleep and ignorant of the snow that is falling on Christmas eve....and then they awaken to a crisp, white Christmas morning! Wonderful and nominated.

    All the very best,
    Ben
