Time

Time,
Such a funny trick.
Think there's always enough,
It's games can be sick.

Time takes away,
Yes it sometimes can heal.
But it's a thief,
All time does is steal.

Steals your beauty,
pieces of your soul.
things you work for,
As you grow old.

Time has never been a friend,
But more of an enemy.
How do we enjoy it?
The question is the key.

Enjoy what you have,
But time is not life.
Two very different things,
Like paper and a kite.

Similar in ways,
But different in most.
Life is the enjoyment,
Time is the ghost.

Time is meant to be taken,
Life is meant to be lived.
There's no time for regrets,
Don't say you wish you did.

Time heals nothing,
It only takes away.
But living a full life,
Is proudly taken to the grave.

I may not be the prettiest,
Author, model , or movie star.
I will be who I am,
the best I know so far.

To a life well lived,
With the time given.
Filling our lungs,
With life and living.
