My England?

by DarkKnight   Oct 17, 2016

Albion's white cliffs fade as do the memories of sacrifices made
Us few Us brave silent poppy covered graves

"Lest We Forget" your promised made yet the memories of our sacrifices fade My England what have you become what have the politicians done

My family My people and homeland once walked proudly behind marching bands off to war us brave few My England what's become of you

The voices of many stilled by the few My England what's become of you
Rise up once more raise hearts and voice be proud fly St George sing and rejoice

For My England I gave it all
the ultimate sacrifice don't you recall
so march proudly and lift up your head
as you did once for your war dead

For My England stand up I say
for we will all meet again come
judgement day
