Words of my Heart.

My Sun sets, and Moon rises, my world revolving around You.
I'd happily waste every minute of that with You, it's true.
The yearning that is burning within me, I wish You knew..
Tell me You feel the same, tell me my words are not being misconstrued.

Like the Wings of a humming bird..
My Heartbeats faster than I can count.. awaiting Your response.
Even to me it seems just shy of Absurd..
All the same, I can not let the Words of my Heart go unheard.

Our Love in me, like an eternal summer.. Can not be subdued.
I adore You; seeking to quench the unquenchable thirst of acceptance.
Like a stream; True loves presence..
That has for so long been denied to me..

Alas; even if the Eternal summer, fades into Winter.
And I feel the Icy chill of heartbreak intrude..
My heart will mend as it concludes..
I'd rather feel this burn, than feel nothing at all.

    Jenn, wonderfully penned. I really like how you capitalized certain key words showing their importance. Nothing tops that giddy feeling of love and wondering if they feel the same. I do love your last stanza, it is important to have loved than never at all. Well Done-
