The Spectator

by Sean Ash   Feb 5, 2017

Sometimes, one must put everything they are holding down; take a back seat and watch patiently to see how things unfold. To go from protagonist to spectator; player to fan; writer to reader; speaker to listener; until you remove yourself from the equation and observe from the outside; to look through the looking glass. Only then will you determine where you are supposed to be. After all, the heart does not need you to speak for it, as it can beat for itself.

Excellent, Sean. Sometimes we really do need to step back to see things a little more clearly.

    All the best,

Wise words here. I like poems that make a mind think; make eyes see a world from a different perspective, yes, this piece acheived this.

    Thank you, from this reader.
