Unconditional Healing Guide

by Lyra   Jun 2, 2017

I imagine you across from me
Or sitting by my side
My silent comfort next to me
My feelings you abide

Accepting me as I am
I'm not much fun
But you don't mind
Choosing me over everyone

You make it feel okay
Just to feel as I do
No one trying to force me
To act or pull on through

You look at me like an angel
So soft and comforting
Never giving any advice
Whilst I feel my suffering

I'd like to lay on your chest
And hear your soft heartbeat
To help me to sleep and rest
A moment warm and sweet

Tomorrow night I'll wear all white
I hope I'll be a sight
For my healing flight
For turning all to right

I allow and behave
Not thinking about the day
So my soul can be saved
In a cradling cozy way

You dont try to make me different
I can sit and stare
And you are still there
You don't care
People like you are rare

I love you here with me
Loving unconditionally
Even when I feel crappy
You still smile at me
I feel free

I wish others could see you
Mostly I'd show you off
Let them know it exist
And not so far off

Thank you for letting me be
For as long as it will take
I love that you can see
And rub away the ache

You treat me so much better
Than I ever did myself
More gentle, caring, caressing
Knowing when I need the help

I love to lean on you
I can do it anytime
You're my best friend ever
I love you, you're my prime
