Your Eyes

by Sai Vara Prasad Potharaju   Sep 30, 2017

They speak to me
With lot of metaphors,
Trying to get the innermost feelings,
Hidden deep into mine.

You smile, but they do not.
You shy away, looking elsewhere,
They always look straight into mine, expressing themselves boldly.

What are your eyes?
Mirrors of your own self.
Alas, I would not live in this world but for your lovely eyes.
