    Woah free verse.
This is probably one of the most amazing poems I’ve ever read on this website.
Your honesty is so real and raw and I can’t even begin to wrap my head around what the frick I just read.
    I’m a little speechless.
I hope to god that this wins

    Judging Comment:

From this poem the meaning of forgiveness is understood in depth
and with much heartache. The way this poem unfolds and carries
the reader through with the writer, making every emotion felt
is so sad yet powerfully worded with simple words. A painful
episode waiting to be released by forgiveness.(10 points)

It could happen in any sort of relationship - love, friendship, marriage. From this poem, it looks like a case of broken relationship in love or marriage.
A continuous tone of forgiveness flows throughout the poem, and from the title it looks like that the character in this poem committed some sort of sin.
He is tired, and lonely on summer days. I mean summer is the season of party and fun when we enjoy the most.
Then again, he is dying under the moonlight. Often, Love is born under the presence of moon. Lovers like to spend time under it in each other arms.
He did things, he is ashamed off now. When He couldn't look in his eyes and faced that person anymore he tried to become a better person.
He silenced that person who used to say anything to anyone without knowing the consequences of his acts.
He cleansed his heart from his evil half and now he is a better person. He did all, because he still has hope left somewhere in his heart that one day he would get forgiveness for all of his unutterable acts, all of those sins he committed.
On that day, he will find peace with his heart and soul, there are no more nightmares and he will dream once again.
SS, I have no clue that this poem is your personal experience, that's why I addressed a character to interpret this poem.
As BT Mentioned, "your honesty is real and raw". I agree with her on this. There is an honesty in this poem which connects me too with the poem just like BT.
All in all, it was an enjoyable read. I just hope he gets what he is looking for.
    All the best!
