Mark, it is a wonder how you come up with not just beautiful, not only wonderful, but brilliant and outstanding pieces every week.

The whole poem is a beauty in many levels as ddavidd puts it. The boat trip was an emotional trip in itself, the ending was a clever turn, which I liked, as our emotions would normally wish we did not have a boat.

Well done and glad that it's nominated.

    Mark!
Im so glad this is nominated. the rhyming is spot on!
the content itself is nothing less than amazing.

I love it. Prehaps if you ever get a boat, youll take me for a ride among the seas so your not so alone? :)

Thou Mark! This is awesome, in the true sense of the word!

"For one could do worse than a liquid hearse"

Love this! I love the thought process it reveals; the musings of how wonderful and free it would be to own a boat, through to the pitfalls and the conclusion that's it's perhaps not the best idea .. beautiful and thoroughly entertaining! :-) x
