      I'm sorry to hear.
It was a piece inspired by war and the loss and grief it causes

A haunting chilling piece that gave me goosebumps. Very well written heart wrenching portrayal of being closer to a war than most of us ever get to be. I really hope this gets nominated. Unfortunately I've run out of votes. It's a really important piece that brings such experiences the bandwidth that it needs. Best wishes Milly x

First of all Kereen, I like the simple title and the repetition of it through-out the poem. It gave the poem a great feel, as Milly puts it, a chilling feel. I like the rawness of the expression of how much the speaker here loves his/her brother. Plus, this flowed well too. A great write and I am glad I still can nominate! :-)

This was a well written piece. I loved the way you formulated each line, I've gained more of an insight and respect on the brave men/women who fight for their freedom and country. Congratulations on your win!!!!!!!!

    Judging comment:

A wonderful poem with a lot of emotion that resonates with everyone out there who has family in the war zone fighting for a country. The poet has very well captured the emotion of trepidation, fear and hope felt by the family members. Very well done.
