I'm sorry

by Ocean Chant   Feb 21, 2018

I can hear your airless call,
Sprawly in fall,
And though I can reach to you,
I do not feel like I have to.

My heart's not tightening in worry.
Is it because I can't care?
My friend, I'm sorry,
You should find a better one elsewhere.

Will you?
I'll miss us two.

A sad sort of write, but when things reach their natural conclusion, there is little point in fighting for them anymore.

    Take care
