My Mask

by Renegade Angel   Mar 14, 2018

I can no longer claim silence

I will no longer be trapped in my own web of incomplete dreams

Those dreams cause my tears to cascade, either rage induced or sadness completed.

No one can hear me shout, and my voice will not longer be masked.

My web, my safe haven no longer exists behind my web of lies.

I can dream.

I will weep.

I shall overcome.

My mask is no longer tied and my mouth is open wide.

This feels like an escape after a long time of being silenced by someone. Great imagery here :-) x
