    Hello Darren,

I'm so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing your pain and your tribute with us.

My gran passed 2001. I miss her still and this reminded me of her.

    Thank you.

Thanks Mr D, I bet it doesn't feel like 17 years ago either.

Firstly, Darren, I am very sorry to hear of you Nan's passing; I've lost two grandparents in a couple of years and I know how painful it can be.
She sounds like quite a woman; despite the terrible torment of losing children, she still remembered to 'chuckle' - even dementia couldn't erase the memory of how to do that.

    Take care,

    Ben

Thanks Ben. I strangely feel relieved she has passed, she would have never wanted to live out her life as she did the last three years in a nursing home.

Darren, my deepest condolences for your loss. What a lovely dedication for your Nan that despite so much loss and tragedy in her own life still found happiness and laughter.
