This starts off quite a dark piece. With thoughts of each day being your last but there is that tiny glimmer of hope mentioned in the first stanza that makes the reader want to read further. As the piece unfolds we see a love someone who can offer comfort even on the gloomiest days. The acknowledgement that the writer is moody and depressed yet this love is their rock shielding and supporting them. It is an emotional piece that is full of sadness but with love and trust comes redemption. Milly x
