Losing Prince

By Bhekumuzi Mdakane

She came to fight for her Prince,
She came for her missing Peace.
In tears and broken at heart,
Her Son, Her Prince.

To die for him she was prepared, her gift from life and her given birth of love he was.

Have I, in family feuds done you wrong?
Have I not shared my heart enough? ( Her Actions Question Him).

The Prince she slaps wide awake yet speechless he stood in confusion.
She has to save her Prince, A mother is in pain and enough is enough.

"They may carry weapons of mass destruction, hurt or even kill me, I am a mother and I'm more powerful than them, I gave him life however in peace and love I do not live nor rest.

My Prince, My Prince," cries a tormented soul in search for enlightenment.

As love is one's heart in a pure state of enlightened nature, the life she once carried for nine months now lives in darkness.

He smoked his answers and "MaMa" was all he whispered.

She was at war and in battle for two,
A war outside their home was killing her sons future and the one within where love is meant to live with life.

A heart strong enough to hold a family needs not a tear in the eyes of that life she gave. The love factory a mother possesses and a place for all life to feel loved it is indeed.

She now takes on his battles and enemies. A Mother Loves her Son, Her Prince, Her Missing Peace.

Cheers to courage, for it is all she holds.
In her devoured and tortured heart, Her Son, Her Prince remains in her Love.

A Mother is a child's Gift and a Father's peace in Love.

How Life is a Mother and a Mother is but a Life In Love, she had to live again. Love is the life we're born to live and Mother Earth is holds it all.

A heart she attacks with love and peace for her Prince is in demand. A rose is dying and like water, life she had to bring home alive.

I do not deserve to hate myself, my son and my life. I do not deserve hatred. I gave myself to my son and my life to love My Prince. In pain, I carry on, In Fear, I believe in love, My Prince.

A Mother I began to understand and a love I felt in pain. She came to fight for her Prince, alone and as a single parent, she came to save her son from the street life.

A father may leave a heart falling apart and shivering in fear yet a will to find peace in broken hearts a Mother is prepared to die for.

There's a Prince in every boy and a King in every man who feels his mother's love. Understanding the purpose of life and a responsibility to love is a lesson from a Mother.

A Prince she gives birth to and a King she can groom alone.

Damn those fathers who left their children, for a pure love they gave up.
