God killed her

By Bhekumuzi Mdakane

I miss her, but she's dead,
I miss her, but you still took her.
You ungrateful God, who am I to be without her.

I miss a child who was never born, a Mother who never gave birth a father who I was meant to be.

Happiness was meant to be my next lesson, not fear, anger and hatred.

I miss a family that was my yesterday, is my today, would be my tomorrow and forever.

I now face them alone and they see me not. I feel them not and I care less. Why leave me here you damn fool of a God.

If your heaven holds my peace?

I am ready.
