Electric Screams

Silent screams like electric lights
Striking from the depths of dark swirling skies
Sea pounding majestically against the blackened silhouetted jagged rocks
The poetic parallels of the powerfully dangerous beauty that washes all round me

Guttural echoes that haunt the wild night air
Thunderous pounds of the wailing winds against my body
Hair violently whipping about like Medusa’s snakes; unruly, poisonous & deadly
There is nothing that cannot be conjured amongst this hell upon earth; that is the Beasts cry

Bare legs stained with kisses from the Earth
A symphony orchestra of nature’s uncoordinated chaotic melody
Fractured & splintered shards of emotional shrapnel embedded deep within
Spine chillingly primal howls & cries towards the watchfully incandescent full bodied Moon

Daggers of ice water curiously cascading
Skin on fire with the icy blows of unrelenting lawless nature
Needles on the senses, mist forms in the blackness of my hollow mouth
As a blanket of crooked stars spill over & surge into the waiting arms of the night sky
