Where do we go from here?

by Phoenix ¥   Jan 2, 2019

I hear you..
You’re ready now.
But it’s been a long time coming
And things are different now.

Too many times to mention
I’ve laid myself bare.
Had my chest ripped open
Leaving my heart for you, right there.

But you didn’t come to claim it,
You were scared and you were weak.
I had to fix the scars myself
While you turned the other cheek

I understand your reasons
And I know it all made sense
But it didn’t stop the pain
That was crazy and immense.

So time has moved on
My scars begin to heal
Now I need to ask myself
What do I really feel?

Having read and enjoyed your previous works Phoenix you should like an incredibly strong person who can work tirelessly to achieve what you truley want. I'm sure you'll be up and running and make a full healthy recovery and be happy to run in what ever direction you choose :-) X

As always Phonix beautiful words from you so elegantly put.

Sounds like time has passed and healed you. Maybe your in a phase of rehabilitation and learning how to walk before you can run. X

Thanks for your comment Yan :-)
I think healing is a process and I’ve definitely begun so yes rehabilitation is a good way of describing it. Let’s hope I make a fully recovery ;-) xx
