In the Darkness

A life full of pain
Of stress and strain
Drained till there is nothing to drain
Only narcotics can numb the pain
Taking walks through the dark alleys of my brain

Darkness I feel inside
In the darkness I want to reside
Stay there and close my eyes.

    Narcotics do not numb the pain, they numb us.

    you are just tired need sleep in the deep places of your soul that are hurt. Narcotics however are the means of self pity. Self pity never cure anything, only sustain and preserves the situation.
