What happens to your heart

When you're left all alone ?

Finally it gets bitter,

Without the love it's known.

Everybody needs someone

To share their love and pain

If that isn't so

Why do we go and love again?

Such a deep dark scary place

With no-one there to share

Being all alone's so hard

When you were a pair.

It's a whole new different life

Lonely and so cold

Empty bed, empty arms

With no-one left to hold.

Sleep just doesn't come easy

Though you want to very much

Cause only in your dreams

Will you feel his touch.

Close your eyes and there he is

Haunting your mind again.

If only he would go away

And take with him this pain!
