Mystery Girl

Mystery Girl

I saw a mystery girl at a party,
I don't know her name,
I desperately wanted to say hello,
Hoped maybe she felt the same,

Her face is kind and gentle,
Never wearing a frown,
She has long hair,
that is soft, pretty, and brown.

She wore a lovely green dress,
Her hair was in curls,
Sadly the party is over,
And she remains a mystery girl,

Just when i thought it was over,
That there were no more chances for me,
She came out of nowhere,
Waiting for me to meet,

We talked together,
Shared things about eachother,
She was nice enough to introduce me to her mother,

But the the time came,
To say good-bye,
I didn't want to leave my new buddy,
It made me want to cry,

All i could think about was the mystery girl,
I was really gonna missa,
She is no longer a mystery girl,
Her name is Melissa.
