A mysterious whirlpool
The whirl of the vortex sucking me in
Inescapably into itself
These groans and screams penetrate
They penetrate everywhere
We crawl away as we can in our haste
At last! But still it is not the end
Suddenly a vision came
Of nothing but his farm-yard and his wife
Close behind us were our friends
We trudge onward
It was fairly quiet
At rest five miles
At peace
