Passions Ignite

by Ann Stareyes   Sep 27, 2005

Music plays softly
Candles burn low
Aroma fills the air

Rose Petals lie
Leading
to my heart
As we intertwine

Passions ignite
Hearts can't resist
Emotions cascading
As temperature rises
Love has conquered.

I feel you do a good job of setting up a romantic situation, and then take it one step further,.. you end at that step, but its like a cliff hanger,.. cuz they give into emotion, then love is conquered.. i guess its a good way to end it.. just capturing that moment,.. but it seems like its unfinished to me.. anyway,.. a good fluent read that captured a worthy moment so vividly.. good job!
