Wow this is wonderful...5/5...my fav part was

These eyes still play a slide show of your face,
and these lips still mimic a rhythm so divine.

This poem reminds me of a Spill Canvas song. The rythm makes it seem like you can sing it, and the words are so perfect. I love the little bit about spinning in the chair to blur the face, very original and...it's just perfect. But what are you saying in this? That you are giving up on love because they can't be by your side at the moment? Well I don't know about you, but the person I love is -miles- away, and will be until God knows when, but I keep faith in us because maybe someday, if we truly mean what we say, then we'll see each other. You can't just give up on love, it's not going to go the right way all the time. But fighting that current is what makes love exactly what it is. Two people who would do anything for each other, even if that anything means waiting forever just to hold them. I hope you're well babe, and I love you soo much.
