My sugar pill

by bex   Oct 10, 2005

Lock my gaze and hold my hand
Let us not loosen our grip
Keep me safe and warm tonight
Why can't anyone understand?

The smile which had lost its way
Returns now with the touch of your lips
To me you are my everything
Shield me from this eclipse

With ever word you utter I crave you ever still
I'm incomplete and frozen
Your absence is my downward spiral
Feeding my addiction you're my sugar pill

One glance could make me shiver
An ecstasy of forever
Concussed and intertwined
To distil this moment I endeavour

Challenged at each corner
We battle through the friction
As constant as your heartbeat
You're feeding my addiction
You are my sugar pill...
