I agree and think it's mostly because of the effect that the media plays upon us. the media that's controlling our society and every choice that seems to be made. you just have to wonder where the real emotions have really gone and hope that we can feel them once again. great poem and i'm loving the message.

I'm actually not sad....I just noticed people have lost their sense of humor...the laughter from our childhood has become the ringing of the cell phone...

Oh Bill wow, I love this! I love the ending, it's perfect! So where did all the laughter go? Let's find it!

I done the same as Brandy and read it 3 or 4 times through, getting something more each time. This is a wonderful poem Bill and how you are so right! Where has the laughter in this world gone? The world has just gone crazy!!! Great writing Bill.

I love this, the whole situation, it's like you've lost all meaning of life and you can't feel or hear the things that made you so alive. The flow was wonderful as well. Thank you for all the support on my poems, they mean a lot more than you think. thanks soo very much and I hope you had a wonderful christmas and New Years.

    Take Care,
    Renee

Haven't been around much to read and though I regret it I will say this is an awesome poem! I am one who often thinks this way as well...if you can't laugh then why live...I say that all the time and people look at me like I have six heads...lol Excellent write here Bill....I truly loved it....
