I wish I were a bird

by bronte   Jan 11, 2006

I wish I were a bird
Flying high above the sky
How lucky they are
They do what we wish we could do

They have their freedom
We have ours
They do what they want
Whenever they want

Oh how I wish I could be where they are
To act with the foolishness of a child
Not to be compared to many
To explore the world and see what it has to offer.
