This poem really spoke to me! I had the same thing happen to me, and it does stick with you forever. I was raped by my good friend and he took my virginity! Things will slowly get better, but it is a long hard road ahead! Keep your head up and keep writing these beautiful poems! They really reach out to me and probably hundreds of other people!!! This poem is one of the best that I have read in a long time. I love it. mostly because I know exactly how you are feeling. You see I was raped as well a couple of year ago. I'm really sorry that you had to go through this> It really sucks.
