Dark Rose Of The Night

by Carol Davis   Apr 22, 2006

I sent you a rose of dark.
I blend it with a splash of red to
give you my hate of dawn.
I put a pinch of venom to make
you ill.

The rose of night became my solomn promise to make to die.
When it becomes open it will spray the poison into you veins of death.

The petals will give their beauty into the fragrance and become your pain.
I will wait upon your death and smile.
I watched death overtake your body.

The black mamba rose from your grave before and give you weakness.
The head of the snake became of me.
I will take my revenge within your soul and within your spirit for the love you didn't give
in return.

I was your night.
I was your love.
I was the one you tried to play.
I am the one that took your life.
I gave you my love but you denied.
Now I gave you the sting of death.

I gave you no sight to see your grave.
I gave you no hearing to hear the sand upon your coffen.
I gave you no heart to feel the death within.
I did give you me I am your death.
