I love the way the sun shines
The way it peaks through my curtains and shines in my eyes.
I love the way it finds a place to perch up in the sky.
I love the way it towers above me, illuminating my every move.
I love the way it follows me everywhere,
as if having something to prove.
I love the way it hides at night, pushing the moon out into the mist.
I love the way it lights up the moon amongst the starry midst.
