Just another day...

by Marie   Jul 10, 2006

She looks in the mirror with a frown on her face, she would love to just travel to another place.

She enters the doors to the hell for the day, she hopes that everyone will just stay out of her way.

Getting through the first class is always the worst, shes always to a point about ready to burst.

They ridicule they laugh, they turn away and smile, she just wishes to float away, if only for a little while.

It is a bad day, worse than most, only half the period gone and shes getting real close.

She stares straight down and into her book, afraid to glance up, afraid to look.

Her eyes well with tears and she listens to them joke, her throat tightens as if shes going to choke.

At the last second she stands up out of her desk, she walks to the front and the teacher can see she is not looking her best.

She asks to be excused and quickly walks out, she runs to the bathroom, she just wants to shout.

She hides in that same old corner and burrieburiesead, she sits there silently as the tears shed.

She gets up and looks into dreaded mirror as the tears stream down, she looks back into that same old frown.

She hears the bell ring as she scurries out the door, she sighs to herself 'only 7 periods more.'
